Frequently Asked Questions

What does the "Access interrupted" message on Tycam 1100/2100 cameras mean?

This message appears in the Tydom app on the camera list to signify that a manual camera update is required.
As of 8 April 2025, the old video platform of the Tycam 1100 and 2100 cameras is no longer accessible and has been replaced by a new video service, as communicated on several occasions since the summer of 2024. An automatic migration was carried out for most of the cameras installed. Some cameras were unable to avail of this automatic migration (disconnected cameras or those with a non-operational SD card). In this case a manual update of the camera is required. This operation requires you to be on site to delete the camera from the Tydom app, then re-pair it by following the dedicated tutorial with Tydom app version 4.16 or higher. Depending on the condition of the camera, the SD card may need to be replaced.
Reminder: the objective of this update is to allow you to benefit from the performance and stability of the new video service, with faster access to the livestream and to recordings. This update will also allow you to access new features in the Tydom app, such as programming and scenarios.
