Frequently Asked Questions

What are the advantages of the Mesh function ?

The free field radio range of our transmitters is 100–300 m. Delta Dore created t mesh network to expand the radio range.

The mesh network allows the radio signal to be repeated between all of the receivers used in the network (maximum 16 per network).

Benefits of the mesh network:
- Centralises the control of the equipment
- Resolves radio range problems on specific sites (thick walls or large areas)

Prerequisites for implementing the mesh network
- All the receivers are compatible with the mesh network.
- A mesh network is created automatically by the transmitter.
- Depending on the transmitter, it is possible to create multiple independent mesh networks.

The following transmitters support the mesh network:

  • Tyxia 2700
  • Tyxia 2330
  • Tyxia 1700
  • Tyxia 1703
  • Tyxia 1705
  • Tyxia 1712
  • Tyxia 1400
  • Tyxia 1410
  • Tydom 1.0
  • Tydom 2.0
  • TTRTC / TTGSM

Advanced use: Extended mesh

The mesh network can be used in an advanced version for specific sites.

Example: and installation with system with many lighting receivers:
1. With a transmitter that supports extended meshing associate the first 16 lighting receivers.
2. Associate the extra lighting receivers. The radio signal received by the first 16 receivers will then be repeated to the other receivers.

The following transmitters support the extended mesh function:

  • Tyxia 2700
  • Tyxia 2330
  • Tyxia 1703
  • Tyxia 1705
  • Tyxia 1712*

* Note: With the extended mesh function we recommend using the Tyxia 1712 remote control only as a central control unit. The associated receivers in extended mesh will receive commands from each group.
