Routines with Siri, iOS Widgets, and Tyxal+ remote access

Discover the content of version 4.15 of the Tydom application.
New features that iOS users have been requesting and waiting for are included in this latest update to the Tydom smart home app. We tell you all about it in this article.
Launch your routines using your voice with Siri
Available with all Delta Dore smart home hubs for iOS users.
No need to go to your Tydom app to start a routine! You can now start your routines with Siri, via shortcuts (from iOS 17.2).
Configure your scenario in the Tydom app and then activate it with one click, or using your voice with Siri!
Note that the widgets and shortcuts in your Tydom app do not work in aeroplane mode, while some do not work in power-saving mode either. If, for example, you launch the "Going out" scenario in aeroplane mode, the scenario will not run, but your shortcut will not indicate this.
What is an iOS shortcut?
"Shortcuts" is an iOS application. It allows you to create and launch actions with applications that are already installed and offer shortcuts. It's a way of using your applications more quickly, without actually opening them. |
Examples: create a note, activate dark mode, call "Mum", send a message...
How do I add a Tydom shortcut?
From the "Shortcuts" app only:
- Click on "+"
- Search for "Tydom"
- Choose "Start a routine".
- Select the site and the routine
- Rename the shortcut (which is called "Launch a routine" by default).
To use it with Siri, remember to rename the shortcut in order to launch it by voice command using this new name. For example, if you want to open your shutters with Siri, rename your shortcut "Open the shutters" so that you can say "Hey Siri, open the shutters".

How do I customise a Tydom shortcut?
Organise your shortcuts visually on your screen so you can find them at a glance.
From the "Shortcuts" app only:
- Press the shortcut for 3 seconds
- Or press "..." on the shortcut and click on "rename", "edit", "duplicate", or "move".
- Change: the colour, the icon...
Did you know? The 'Shortcuts' app has a widget that is available in different formats. You can put this shortcut on your home screen or your widget screen via a Shortcut Widget.
Launch a routine from an iOS widget
Available with all Delta Dore smart home hubs for iOS users.
Widgets already available for Android users (see dedicated news item)
Save time: launch your routines in one click from your iOS home screen or widget screen, using Widgets*! There's no longer any need to go to your Tydom app to launch your routine, simply do so in one click from the associated widget. You receive direct feedback regarding the status of the action via your widget (in progress, successful, or failed).
*Available from iOS version 17.2.
You cannot launch a Tydom Widget via Siri. To launch a command with Siri, you need to use a Tydom shortcut (see above).
What is a blockWidget?
A Widget is a button that you can place on your home screen and widget screen (the screen that appears when you swipe right from the left side of the home screen). There are different types of Widget (e.g. Photo Widget, Calendar Widget, Battery Widget, etc.) and different types of information can be displayed depending on their configuration and format.
How do I use a Widget with the Tydom app?
The Tydom app now has an iOS Widget that lets you launch a scenario. It is available on the home screen or the widget screen.
