Frequently Asked Questions
My camera doesn't detect vehicles at night. What can I do?
You have a number of options:
- Adjust the image exposure: for example, reduce the exposure time to 1/25 for vehicle lights with stronger reflections
- Activate the HLC option: High light compensation identifies and suppresses the strong light sources that usually light up a scene. This allows you to see details of the image that would normally be hidden.
- If the above 2 recommendations do not improve vehicle detection at night, we recommend switching to standard motion detection mode.
